CARÁTULA: 

En esta carátula se podía realizar como nosotros queramos y con los materiales que nosotros queríamos.Yo elejí utilizar materiales simples como lapices de colores, lapicéras y resaltadores.

CALIGRAMA: 

Tuvimos que buscar en internet una imagen de algo que nos identificara. Pensamos palabras relacionadas con nuestra imagen. Después con esas palabras dibujamos cosas relacionadas con eso. Luego escribimos esas palabras que habíamos pensado relacionadas en el dibujo. Así formamos un caligrama. 

COMPOSICIÓN CON FIGURAS GEOMÉTRICAS PLANAS:

Elegi una palabra, mi palabra era conjunto y la representamos con formas geometricas con diferentes los tamaños y colores. Pintamos con lápices de colores. Mi  trabajo:

Después del anterior dibujo, elegimos el dibujo de un compañero y escribimos palabras relacionadas. Escribimos una historia y en base a eso hicimos un trabajo con formas geométricas y temperas.

En este trabajo, está hecho con temperas y se basa en una palabra que Flor, nuestra profesora de Educación Artística, eligió para que representáramos.

En este trabajo, nos sacamos una foto y la intervenimos con imágenes de nuestro trabajo de intervención en una parte del colegio

Por los veinticinco años del colegio , para la muestra de arte hicimos una instalación. Esta instalacion la hicimos en base a un poema sobre los valores del colegio. A continuación el poema..

Nuevo Mundo, Nuestro Mundo

De estos veinticinco años, sólo en los últimos doce

Estuvimos presentes en esta fuente de amor y respeto

Essay: "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde"

In this task we have to write a literary essay based on the story "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde". We have to choose one of the key points of analysis to analised and explained in our essay. This essay should have between 350-400 words.

The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

“The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”, written by Robert Louis Stevenson, talks about a man called Dr. Henry Jekyll who wants to discover his other personality. He makes many experiments to achieve his aim. Finally, he discovers that he has an evil personality, called Mr. Hyde. At the end, Dr. Jekyll kills himself. This essay contains an analysis on the primary character Mr. Hyde, his personality, physical appearance and the symbolism related to him.

In connection to his physical appearance, Mr. Hyde is presented as “the picture of disquietude”, that might be because of his physical ugliness, repulsiveness and the shocking effect he leaves on people: “Then he began slowly to mount the street, pausing every step or two, and putting his hand to his brow like a man in mental perplexity”. Likewise, the fact that he is hairy and dwarfish, in addition to the impression of deformity Hyde gives, makes him look like a beast, what could express his lack of humanity.

Talking about his personality, Mr. Hyde is portrayed as an animalistic creature, as he is uncivilized and immoral. Hyde, in addition, kills for no reason but the joy of it, what proves he is no entirely an animal, as animals do not do that. Moreover, Mr. Hyde has a cruel and violent personality: “And next moment, with ape-like fury, he was trampling his victim under foot, and hailing down a storm of blows, under which the bones were audibly shattered and the body jump upon the roadway”.

In relation to the symbolism connected to Hyde’s physical appearance, his ugliness and deformity symbolize his lack of moral and ethics, while his small stature the fact that he has been repressed for years and his hairiness, that he is Dr. Jekyll’s animalistic side. As it can been seen in the next quote, Mr. Hyde was growing: “The powers of Hyde seemed to have grown with the sickness of Jekyll”.

In conclusion, Mr. Hyde is an animalistic creature who is really cruel and violent, and we can appreciate that throughout the whole novel, in which this character is developed all along the plot. Personally, I think that Mr. Hyde is a great, very interesting character and one of the best characters to analyse. He symbolizes the evil part of the society and humanity, as he is the evil part of a very well-known man.

USA: Plane fall kills people

Tonight, September, 30th, a plane fell down and killed lots of people in the United States, California. It was a plane from Austral airline. The pilot lost the plane´s control and they fell. Unfortunatelly, There were few survivors and they are terribly injured.

The incident took place at night, approximately at  11 pm. People were exhausted, so they were either  watching tv or sleeping when the accident occured. The fuselage was broken and one of its wings was destroyed. When the plane fell it hit a company too.

People were very SAD and dissapointed because of the accident. The reponsible of the accident said: “from now on long distance flights will be double-checked  just in case something is wrong with them”. Authorities in California are worried because, apart from people, buildings and streets have also been severely damaged.

Nancy, one of the accident´s survivors, said that she had been lucky, and that she would never get on a plane again. The owner of the destroyed company expressed his anger by saying: “ Austral airline will have to pay for all the damages in here”.

Short Story: The Weeding.

The wedding

One day I was thinking in my bed when that moment would come. I asked to myself, about that special day, that incredible moment, our wedding. I talked all the day with my girlfriend Sarah about how the wedding would be. When I told her my idea, she got surprised because she never thought that I would propose something like that. We planned all the wedding, the most important things, like what we would do, at what time, etc. We decided to do it the 16th of November in Oklahoma City in the afternoon. When I told my parents they got surprised. We started doing the list of the guests and all the invitations. Sarah was looking for a long white dress, and I for an elegant garment. We had a lot of people that helped us organize the event. The place where we rented the lounge was in the middle of an enormous field in Oklahoma City. We almost rented a work that, a man would throw some colorful fireworks, when the wedding had finished.

The time passed very quickly and the wedding was in five days. The event was almost finished, we had to repair something, and we had to finish sending some invitations, there was a lot to do. We were very anxious but at the same time we were nervous.

On the same night there was too much tension between us and we had a bad time. That would cause the end of the wedding, so we didn’t know if we had to cancel the event or not. In the morning of the next day I went to my parent’s house to tell them the confrontation that I had with Sarah, I didn’t know what I could do, so I went home again, I relaxed, and I had a serious talk with her. We talked for two hours and we decided that the wedding would be carried to the end.

It was the day, 16 of November in the morning, all the things of the wedding were very well organized and all was in excellent conditions. Sarah said: Am I too nervous. Laura said: “Don’t be afraid, all this is perfect!” After several hours the people started coming and the wedding was going very well. I waited some minutes for Sarah, so we could start the wedding. It was a lovely day, without any cloud and with an enormous shinning sun. After some minutes, she appeared, with an incredible dress, she was very beautiful, and she was so cute that she seemed like a princess.

The priest started to talk. When the wedding was finishing, all the sky turned dark with a lot of black clouds, and a very strong wind appeared. We continued with the wedding so we could end up but all the people started going away because there was a very huge tornado coming to us, it was the most enormous tornado of all my life. That natural disaster moved very quickly and destroyed our wedding. The tornado touched the fireworks and all of them started to explode and one hit on Sarah’s leg, she started bleeding and I didn’t know what I could do. The tornado was very close to me, so I started to run, Sarah was dying. I ran very quickly but at the same time I was crying because of what was happening to her. Finally the tornado sucked Sarah, but there were no more deaths. That was the last time she ever saw them, and it was the last time I saw her.

Review 

 Harry Potter

 “Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban” was written by J.K. Rowling and directed by Alfonso Cuarón. It is an exciting science fiction movie. It takes place in a school called Hogwarts in a place where no one knows. Harry Potter is a student of that school who knows a lot of magic spells. He is an orphan boy, who tries to defend himself of all the “Dementors” and especially from Sirius Black. This film is about a prisoner of Azkaban called Sirius Black who escapes from prison. Apparently, this man wants to kill the main character of the movie, Harry Potter, but in the end, Harry Potter changes his opinion of what Sirius Black is. The story is very interesting, with amazing graphics, very good ideas and an excellent explanation of the story. The main characters are: Harry Potter-Daniel Radcliffe, Hermione Granger, Emma Watson and Ron Weasley and Rupert Grint. I recommend this story because it is amazing and it is very well organized. The setting is incredible, it is in fantasy castle but it seems like a real castle.

Review Harry Potter

“Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban” was written by J.K. Rowling. It is an exciting science fiction movie.

This film is about a prisoner of Azkaban called Sirius Black that escapes from prision. Apparently, this man wants to kill the main character of the movie, Harry Potter

The story is very interesting, with amazing graphics, very good ideas and an excellent explanation of the story.

I recommend this story because it is an amazing story and it is designed and organized very well!!

VideoPoesia: Macba

VIDEOPOESIA

Realizamos una excurción al MACBA (museo de arte contemporáneo de Buenos Aires), luego de esa salida, entramos a la página del museo y buscamos alguna obra que nos gustara. Cuando encontramos esa obra, buscamos tres mas de ese autor. Nuestro artista fue Juan Nicolás Melé, quien estudio en la escuela de Bellas artes Manuel Belgrano. El nació en Buenos Aires en 1923 y murió ahí en 2012. Luego de buscar un autor y otras tres obras suyas, realizamos un MovieMaker recitando un poema inventado por nosotros mismos y creado a partir de sus obras, mostramos esas obras en el video.

  JE PARLE DE MOI

Je m' appele Lautaro Severina Ramos, J ai trize ans, Je suis argentin, J habite 49 rue Ripamonte, á Adrogué avec ma mére, mon pére et mon frére. J ai un chien. Mon anniversaire, c'est le 16 novembre.

J'aime assez le rugby le ordinateur. J' adore ma famille. Je déteste le collége. Je joue au club San Albano. Je préfére manger. Je déteste etudier.

J´ai les yeux bleu ciel et les cheveux blonds et courts. Je suis grand. Je mesure 1 métre 68 environ. Je ne porte pas de lunettes. Je suis inquiet, sympathique, travailleur, sportif, dynamique et bavard. 

FEUDALISMO

El señorío se encuentra en Escocia.

En el Castillo de Glamis.

Donde era el señorío de Angus.

El escudo

El señorío posee este escudo que básicamente representa la valentía y el honor (gules (rojo)), y la esperanza y la fe (sinople (verde)). Eso es porque sus principales colores son los que llevan esas características.

La corona simboliza el poder del rey, en la Edad Media, la corona en un escudo significabadominación y señorío

Las espadas el ejército del señor feudal y en la Edad Media significaban la justicia y soberanía de su linaje

La cruz celta la representa a la religión (cristianismo), es celta porque el señorío se encuentra en Escocia, donde ese pueblo habitaba y su cultura predominaba. Esa cruz es una mezcla entre la cruz cristiana y un antiguo símbolo celta, proveniente de una leyenda. La Historia de la Cruz Celta se remonta a mas de 2000 años antes de Cristo, cuando a Bran "El Bendito" se le representaba como el Sol. Un círculo en medio del cual se dibujaba una equis. Este dios pagano que sacrifico su vida para salvar a la Celtia, fue quien empezo a dar forma a la cruz celta.

El león es por la valentía de los soldados y los señores feudales y el bastón del león representa el mando militar de los éstos. En la Edad Media, si el león era rojo, significaba que el caballero que llevaba el escudo tenía un espíritu generosamente guerrero. Si el león tenía un bastón, significaba el mando militar de este. Ese animal era símbolo de vigilancia, autoridad, dominio, monarquía, magnanimidad, majestad y bravura

Los colores representan:  

Gules: color rojo. Las características heráldicas que le corresponden son: fortaleza, alteza, ardid, valor, honor, osadía y victoria, con la obligación al servicio y protección de las Armas ante su Soberano y Patria, o Principe y a socorrer a los que se ven oprimidos por la justicia.

Oro: simboliza la nobleza, el esplendor, la prosperidad, sabiduría, magnanimidad, constancia, riqueza, poder y luz. Debían ser los primeros en defender y portar las virtudes caballerescas, amparar a los necesitados y defender al Soberano, peleando por ellos hasta derramar su última gota de sangre.

Plata: Las familias a las que se les concedía el privilegio de llevar este metal en sus escudos se distinguían por su integridad, su obediencia, firmeza, vigilancia, elocuencia, vencimiento y gratitud. En los restantes nobles, es plata.

Azur: color azul. Simboliza a Venus, el aire, y las cualidades de justicia, obediencia, lealtad, piedad y prudencia, con la obligación al servicio y protección de la Agricultura ante su Soberano y Patria.

Sinople: color verde. Simboliza la esperanza, la fe, amistad, servicio y respeto. Es símbolo de grandeza, elevación, asilo y salvaguardia, con la obligación al servicio y protección del Comercio ante su Soberano y Patria.

Dear diary,
                 It was time to swallow again that horrible potion, I didn't want to try that liquid again because It hurts me, but I had to. I swallowed It but this time I was a little bit relaxed. The potion hurt me the same as yesterday, I thought that I was getting used to that so It dindn't hurt me anymore. I transformed in Hyde again, but this time I had one or two more hairs, I dind't know what it could be.
 I went to the street at the same time than yesterday but there were less people than any other day, but almost all the people that were in the street looked at me as if I was an alien or something like that. It was enogh of all the gazes so I ran away to my home, I drank the potion again an I changed again to Hnry Jekyll. I had dinner and I went to bed to sleep.

Dear diary,
                 I have invented a new potion to change my personality. It had a lot of colours. I swallowed all the liquid, that had a disgusting flavor. When I finished swallowing all, I suffered a headache and my hair dissapeared. I was getting smaller and my eyes grew. I had special abilities but I couldn't control them very well.
 It was at night when I went to the street and all the people looked at me, the people got scared because of my terrible face, so I started running back home, I didn't know what I could do, so I drank the potion that I invented and I started shouting because something was like pressing my stomach. It was the effect. That was all, I returned to Jeckyll's body again, I relaxed, I changed my clothes and I went to bed. I started thinking about what I could do when I transformed, so It couldn't  hurt me but I had to leave for another day because I was very tired and I wanted to sleep.

Description of a Place: Australia

AUSTRALIA

 Australia is an island surrounded by water. It is located on the smallest continent in the world. The capital city is Camberra. The population is about 21 million.
 In my opinion it is a good place to go on holidays any day of the year. It almost has a suitable  temperature. In Australia there are a lot of different animals and plants. You can go to the beach and also you can dive there.
 In winter you have to stay in your house, hotel, flat, etc because it rains all the time and you can't do a lots of things. Also you have to be careful of the dangerous animals that are around you.
 Australia has a lot of beches and a lot of attractions.
 You can go to the Sydney theatre, the Reserve of the animals, the Gold coast, the Wax museum. You can interact with some animals like dolphins, penguins, tortoise and more animals in the beach of Great Barrier Reef from Cairns.
 Well, in conclusion it is a good and attractive place to go on holidays in any moment of the year. It is a place with many visitors of different countries and all return back telling that it is an amazing place.

Más poesía visual

La poesía Visual es una forma de poesía práctica en la que la imagen, el elemento plástico, predomina sobre el resto de los componentes. Esta forma de poesía no verbal, constituye un género propio. Es prácticamente tan vieja como la poesía escrita y así lo demuestra la existencia de caligramas y otros poemas representativo.

Más modernamente, es Apollinaire quien hace revivir de nuevo el género con sus caligramas.

Porque demuestra diferentes cosas que te puedas imaginar con las letras coloridas y en la forma en que están ubicadas porque están todas las letras iguales ordenadas una abajo de la otra menos las O de WRONG que esta mal ubicada.

3) Esta obra representa que cada uno puede cometer algún error en su vida y que nadie es perfecto en la vida.

Nos llamo la atención por los diferentes colores que tienen las letras como rojo, blanco, celeste, amarillo y verde.
