Essay: Life of Pi

In the subject Elt we saw a movie with Alejandra Muslera called "Life of Pi" and then in Language we wrote an essay explaining the most important topic of the film.

Essay:  The realtionship between animals and human beings.

This topic is presented all along the movie, since it is about a hindu boy that is on a boat in the middle of the ocean. In addition, he is alone  with a tiger, Richard Parker.

Furthermore, Pi´s family had a zoo, and due to that, he interacted with animals daily. Moreover, despite they had to move to Canada, they took the animals with them, as a result, they kept being together.

In the middle of the trip a storm breaks out, consequently, the ship sinks. Pi end up standed on a boat in the ocean with a Bengal tiger. Despite his problems he is very optimistic and, as he is alone with Richard Parker, he tries to domesticate him.

by the end of the movie, when Pi and the tiger reach land, they had kind of a relationship. However, Richard Parker leaves and Pi is found by other people.

In conclusion, this is one of the most important themes in the film, and the main one because the whole movie is about the relationship between a boy and a tiger.
